Campus Disciplinary & Ethics Committee
The Disciplinary Committee at Misra Nursing Institute of Asansol (MNIA) is constituted to foster a safe, respectful, and ethically sound learning environment across all academic, residential, and clinical wings. The committee is charged with enforcing the institutional code of conduct, maintaining professional bedside nursing decorum during clinical postings, and addressing any breach of campus regulations with complete fairness, transparency, and procedural integrity.

Core Mandates & Operational Responsibilities
- Code of Conduct Enforcement: Monitoring compliance with institutional attendance mandates, uniform and grooming protocols, and ethical nursing standards.
- Clinical Duty Vigilance: Ensuring professional bedside etiquette, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care during hospital and community rotations.
- Hostel & Campus Decorum: Supervising hostel curfew timings, roll calls, and maintaining peaceful coexistence across residential blocks.
- Inquiry & Grievance Resolution: Conducting impartial fact-finding inquiries into reported misconduct, infractions, or disputes, followed by corrective counseling.
Institutional Discipline Norms
Students are expected to uphold the dignity of the nursing profession by observing the core institutional policies:
- Zero Tolerance for Ragging & Harassment: Any act of ragging, bullying, or intimidation within the campus or hostel is strictly prohibited and subject to immediate disciplinary and statutory action.
- ID Card & Uniform Mandate: Wearing the prescribed clinical uniform and institutional identity card is compulsory during all academic, lab, and hospital sessions.
- Punctuality & Integrity: Timely arrival for lectures and clinical shifts is mandatory; leave of absence requires prior formal approval from the batch coordinator.
